When you’re developing your first game, what is one of the biggest challenges?
If it’s the soundtrack, Let’s talk.
Whelmington Sound is the brainchild of visual effects artist and former audio engineer Frank Jonen. It addresses two issues indie developers have with audio. Cost and game engine implementation.
Unreal Ready
Soundtracks and effects can be delivered as Unreal Engine 5 assets, ready to be placed into your world.
Effects
Traditional Foley and purely digital creations. From the standard library sounds to the wild and wired.
Atmospherics
From haunting echoes of the past to cracking in-your-face sounds for maximum riot.
Costs
Avoidance of constant money drains from subscription models and prestige applications means lower costs for you. Using what works makes more financial sense than using what some paid influencer may tell you to use.
Quality
At the core Whelmington Sound is based on the Universal Audio hard- and software for an authentic analogue sound. No digital coldness, unless necessary.
Future-Proof
When you crack it big-time and want to have it all re-mastered at a big-name studio with a full orchestra and whatnot, you can be sure your projects carry over.
The choice of game engine is completely up to you, just provide your requirements and you’re off to the races. Currently these engines are directly supported.
If this sounds like something you need, let’s talk.
